Your Role
Join GP Bullhound's Group Finance team in Manchester as a Finance Analyst. You'll learn accounting on the job while studying for CIMA through a fully funded Level 4 apprenticeship with Kaplan with study time built into your week. The role is a 15 -month contract starting January 2027. You'll gain hands-on experience across an international finance function and a clear path to more responsibility.
The team
You'll sit in the Group Finance team in Manchester, reporting to Ben Ah Chin Kow.
Responsibilities
Manage the Finance inbox, answering queries and escalating as needed
Support Accounts Payable: payment runs and purchase invoices
Support Accounts Receivable: sales invoices, debtors and collections
Help with month end, including bank reconciliations and journals
Monitor and approve staff expenses
Process daily transactions in the accounting system
Improve processes using AI and other tools
Support the team on ad hoc projects
Your Experience
Committed to studying for CIMA and building a career in finance
Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
Proactive and organised, able to juggle tasks and meet deadlines
A team player keen to improve processes and take on more over time
Office experience (including internships) and an interest in technology are a plus
Your Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in any subject
Good written and spoken English
Right to work in the UK and eligibility for an apprenticeship
