Junior Interior Designer

About the Role
We’re looking for a junior designer with a strong design sense and a real sense of
ownership. You’ll work closely with the principal designer on live projects, from first concept to site handover, and you’ll be trusted to take your part of a project from start to finish.

Requirements

• Strong design sense: a good eye for space, proportion, colour, materials and detail, shown through your portfolio
• Ownership: you take responsibility for your tasks, follow them through, flag problems early and don’t wait to be chased
• Degree or diploma in Interior Design or Architecture
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp (or similar 3D software)
• Working knowledge of rendering tools (V-Ray, Enscape, Lumion, D5)
• Comfort with PowerPoint, Canva or similar for presentations
• Basic understanding of materials, finishes and construction details
• Clear communication and openness to feedback
• A portfolio of academic or internship work

What We Looking For

• Strong design sense: you can explain why a design works, not just that it looks good. You notice details others miss and have a point of view.
• Ownership: when you’re given a drawing, a presentation or a site visit, it’s yours. You deliver it accurate, on time and ready to review, and you speak up when something is off.
• Curiosity: you ask questions, learn from site and vendors, and want to understand the brand behind the brief.
• Attention to detail: dimensions, finishes and drawings are right the first time.
• Adaptability: you’re comfortable moving between a play area, a store and a home.
