Entry-Level Machine Operator

Schedule: 4-Day Work Week | Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (10-Hour Day Shift)

Location: AWE Headquarters (Horsham, PA)

This is an entry-level role (0–1 years of experience) perfect for someone with strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.

What You’ll Do:

• Operate Machinery: Run equipment like bandsaws, tube cutters, deburring tools, resizing dies, and metal benders following safety and quality guidelines.
• Material Prep: Measure, cut, deburr, and stage raw metal materials using manufacturing jigs for our welding and fabrication teams.
• Quality & Accuracy: Ensure orders are fulfilled accurately with minimal scrap while keeping your workstation clean and organized (5S standards).
• Maintenance & Improvement: Perform basic daily equipment checks (TPM) and share ideas for process improvements.
• Growth: Opportunities available to cross-train and assist in welding operations for interested team members!

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED; 0–1 years of manufacturing experience.
• Basic math, measuring skills, and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to follow written/verbal instructions and lift up to 25–75 lbs.
• Team-oriented mindset, reliable attendance, and coachability.
