Job Summary of Retail Operations Trainee:

The Retail Operations Trainee position is an initial and temporary role that readies an employee for an advanced supervisory position, such as Retail Operations Trainee. Trainees follow instructions, complete fundamental training in operational and managerial skills, and acquire knowledge about essential business elements, such as fostering customer loyalty through exceptional service, and the ethos of CVS/pharmacy. Once the training program is successfully finished, Shift Supervisor Trainees may be evaluated for promotion to available Retail Operations Trainee positions.

Responsibilities of Retail Operations Trainee:

• These important leadership roles assist the CVS Store Management team in boosting store efficiency and performance, as well as cultivating consumer loyalty by emphasizing high-quality customer service.
• In situations where there is no manager on duty, the Retail Operations Trainee assumes the role of leading the store team, maintaining the smooth operation of store functions, and making sure that all opening and closing procedures are properly executed.
